Abstract
ABSTRACT Zyo Nora Joana Putri : Analysis Of Differentiated Learning In English Language Learning for Inclusive Students Advisor : Dr. Leffi Noviyenti, M.Pd., Co-advisor : Meli Fauziah, M.Pd., This study aims to analyze the implementation of differentiated learning in English language teaching for inclusive students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Curup under the Merdeka Curriculum. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study design involving a seventh-grade English teacher. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the teacher implemented Differentiated in content, process, product, and learning environment according to students’ needs. Materials were simplified and instructions clarified for inclusive students, while regular students received more complex tasks. The learning process was made flexible, with additional guidance for students who experienced difficulties. Learning products were assessed through various formats and individualized feedback, and the classroom environment was designed to be supportive to increase motivation and participation. Supporting factors include the teacher’s experience, a positive classroom atmosphere, and students’ acceptance of differences. Inhibiting factors include limited learning resources, time constraints, large class size, and a lack of continuous training in inclusive education. Overall, differentiated learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Curup can be implemented effectively; however, it requires school support, parent collaboration, and adequate facilities to optimize learning outcomes for inclusive students.
