Abstract

ABSTRACK Siti Romadona NIM. 21591199, "Analysis of Numeracy Literacy Ability of Class V Students at SDIT Ummatan Wahidah" Thesis on the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program IAIN Curup. Numeracy literacy is practical in everyday life, this understanding is related to the use of types of numbers and symbols that are very closely related to mathematical knowledge. This research has the objectives to; 1) To find out the numeracy literacy ability of grade V students at SDIT Ummatan Wahidah. 2) To find out the factors that cause the lack of interest in numeracy literacy so that the numeracy literacy ability is low This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted on school principals, teachers and grade V students at SDIT Ummatan Wahidah. In this study, the data collection techniques used are in the form of observation, documentation and interviews, as well as data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show; 1) The numeracy literacy ability of grade V students is quite good, this is evidenced by students being able to understand the shape of flat buildings and building spaces, reading and making graphs and tables, applying mathematical concepts in daily life, and understanding symbols and numbers 2) the factors that cause the lack of numeracy literacy so that the numeracy literacy ability is low, namely lack of motivation and interest in learning, limitations of parents in supporting children's learning at home, limited facilities and use of technology, and anxiety about mathematics Keywords: Analysis, Ability, Literacy Numeracy
