Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of the world of education, there have been many innovative learning models that are centered on students (student-centered) and prioritize the activities, involvement, and creativity of students in the learning process. Islamic Religious Education has an important role in shaping the character and morality of students. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers have a major role in achieving educational success, thus to achieve educational success, professional teachers are needed. Children's education in Elementary Schools is an effort to stimulate, guide, and also provide learning to train children's abilities and skills. This study uses a qualitative research method. The informants of this study are the Principal, PAI Teachers, students. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques Data Collection (Data Collection), Data Reduction (Data Reduction), Data Display (Data Presentation). The results of the study indicate that the Application of Innovative Learning Models in Religious Education at SD Negeri 58 Lubuk Linggau has implemented innovative learning models. Inhibiting factors, lack of teacher expertise in using power point media, lack of availability of LCD projectors, differences in students in understanding the material called understanding must be different because different people have different understandings, not all are the same and not all of them can be equated.
