Abstract
This research discusses the management of public relations in increasing community interest in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Rejang Lebong. The background of this research is the importance of public relations management in educational institutions to create good relationships and mutual understanding between schools and the community. This is important because the community is becoming more critical in choosing educational institutions in the current era of globalization. School public relations management acts as a mediator and helps. organizations in developing and maintaining good relationships with all stakeholders. This public relations management research aims to increase the community's interest in sending their children to MAN Rejang Lebong. The type of research used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The technique of determining data sources uses the snowball sampling technique, where the sample of data sources is continuously obtained until the desired number of samples is met. The subjects in this study were the Principal of MAN Rejang Lebong, the Public Relations Division, and teachers at MAN Rejang Lebong. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and triangulation analysis. The results showed that the implementation of public relations management at MAN Rejang Lebong has been carried out through planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating public relations activities. These public relations activities aim to increase the community's interest in MAN Rejang Lebong, including through the publication of school achievements, the involvement of parents and the community in school activities, and building a positive image of the school in the community. These efforts have proven effective in increasing the community's interest in sending their children to MAN Rejang Lebong. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of public relations management at MAN Rejang Lebong in increasing community interest.
