Abstract

Merina Surwati NIM. 19551038 “Analysis of Students’ Morphological Awareness in the Learning of English Reading Comprehension”. Thesis, English Tadris Study Program (TBI). This study aims to find out how the students’ morphological awareness in the learning of English reading comprehension at SMP Negeri 10 Rejang Lebong. This research uses descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study amounted to 83 students. In quantitative data collection, researchers took the entire number of students who participated, the total sampling is 83 students using the; Morphological Awareness tests (Morpheme Identification Test and Morpheme Structure Test). Methods of data analysis to determine the validity, reliability, total score, average, and percentage of students’ morphological awareneess, the researcher employed SPSS version 22. The study’s the R-Table and the R-Count results are displayed. The R-Table, which is significant at 5%, is 0.2159 from N-2 = 83-2 = 81. Since the R-Count is more than the R-Table, the questions given forth are legitimate. With a percentage of 100%, the average score is 83.57. The researcher came to the conclusion that the test results, both in terms of rate and average, were great based on the data analysis.
