Abstract

This research is a quantitative research with Pre-Experiment one group pre-test and post-test design. The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of using flipped classroom strategy mediated by LMS (Kahoot!) towards students’ reading comprehension by comparing before and after applying treatment, also to investigate the student’s perception towards the implementation of the flipped classroom mediated by LMS. The population of this reserach was first grade students’ of SMAN 2 Rejang Lebong, and the sample of this research was XG class that consisted of 37 students. The data were taken from the results of the pretest and post-test and from questionnaire survey. This research used descriptive statistical analysis to process the data. The result showed the mean score of pre-test and post-test increased by 11,83 points from 54,62 to 66,45. Futhemore, the hypothesis testing sig (Pvalue) 0.000 ≤ α 0.05. It means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. it can be concluded that using flipped classroom strategy mediated by LMS has significant effect to enhanching students’ reading comprehension. The result of questionaire survey showed the average percentage is 78,44%, it can be conclude students’ perceptions could be categorized into the positive perception.
