Abstract

Management of the Independent Learning Curriculum to Enhance Student Profiles within the Concept of Rahmatan Lil Alamin at MTsN 01 Kepahiang, Thesis, Postgraduate Program of IAIN Curup, Islamic Education Management Program, 2024, 149 pages. This research aims to examine the management of the Independent Learning Curriculum in improving student profiles by integrating the concept of rahmatan lil alamin at MTsN 01 Kepahiang. The Merdeka Belajar curriculum is designed to provide freedom and flexibility in the preparation and implementation of educational programs, so that it can produce students who excel academically and have good character in accordance with the Islamic values of rahmatan lil alamin, namely bringing mercy to all nature. And there is no special program to strengthen the profile of Rahmatan Lilalamin students so that it is mixed with the student profile of Pancasila students and there is no proper evaluation system at MTSN 01 Kepahiang in strengthening the profile of Rahmatan Lilalamin students. The aim is to increase the profile of students in the concept of Lilalamin Mahmat by focusing on project-based learning. However, teachers face challenges in implementing this curriculum, such as difficulties in planning, implementing and evaluating learning activities, This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. Research participants consisted of the principal, teachers, students, and parents. Data analysis was conducted thematically to identify patterns and main themes related to the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum and the development of student profiles. The focus of the analysis is on how this curriculum is implemented and its impact on the formation of student character and achievements. The research results show that the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum at MTsN 01 Kepahiang is going well and is effective in increasing student profiles. Students experience improvements in academic aspects, social skills, and character. The values of rahmatan lil alamin are integrated into learning activities through various extracurricular programs and religious activities. that the planning for the formation of the "Rahmatan Lilalamin" student profile concept at MTsN 1 Kepahiang is in accordance with all 9 existing components in educational management. This research emphasizes that the implementation of P5P2RA aims to form students with character according to the values of Pancasila and moderate Islam, although it is still in the initial stage and requires improvement for optimization.
