Abstract

Profitability is an indicator measuring the amount of profit to determine whether the company has run its business efficiently. The higher the profitability of the Muamalat bank, the better. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financial Deposit Ratio (FDR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), Operating Costs Operating Income (BOPO) affect profitability and to determine and analyze the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financial Deposit Ratio (FDR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), Operating Costs Operating Income (BOPO) simultaneously affect profitability. This study uses a quantitative approach. By using the SPSS Version 22 data processing application and using secondary data obtained from the 2019-2023 quarterly financial reports that have been published on the official website of Bank Muamalat Indonesia. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the CAR variable has a negative effect on ROA at Bank Muamalat Indonesia with a significance value of 0.938. The FDR variable has a negative effect on ROA at Bank Muamalat Indonesia with a significance value of 0.085. The NPF variable has a positive effect on ROA at Bank Muamalat Indonesia with a significance value of 0.039. The BOPO variable has a positive effect on ROA at Bank Muamalat Indonesia with a significance value of 0.000. The CAR, FDR, NPF and BOPO variables simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on ROA at Bank Muamalat Indonesia with a significance value of 0.000.
