Abstract

This study aims to analyze the teaching module designed by pre-service teacher referring to Merdeka Belajar Curriculum The research was conducted at MAN Rejang Lebong and SMAN 1 Rejang Lebong using a qualitative descriptive design. Interview guidance and data analysis were utilized as data collection instruments. The subjects of this research are pre-service teacher at MAN Rejang Lebong and SMAN 1 Rejang Lebong. In the study, researcher discussed that there are several strategies for designing teaching modules and there is a link between strategies for designng teaching modules and success in teaching. These strategies are making an outline learning objectives, developing the introduction, plan the specific learning activities (the main body of the lesson), plan to check for understanding, develop a conclusion and a preview, create a realistic timeline. In the study, researcher discussed that there are several strategies for designing teaching modules and there is a link between strategies for designng teaching modules and success in teaching. Thus, using strategies in designing teaching modules in Merdeka Belajar curriculum can create teaching modules efficient, effective, and student-oriented. Also by make this research, it can help teacher designing teaching module in Merdeka Belajar curriculum.
