Abstract

ABSTRACT Siti Masyita,2023 :“Students' Attitude Towards the Use of ICT as Media in English Speaking Learning at the English Tadris Study Program in IAIN Curup” Advisor : Jumatul Hidayah, M.Pd Co-advisor : Sarwo Edy, M.Pd ICT in the current era is developing a variety of media provided. Almost all students use ICT as their learning media. This research was conducted to determine Students' Attitude Towards the Use of ICT as Media in English Speaking Learning at the English Tadris Study Program in IAIN Curup. This study uses a quantitative design. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire which was distributed to 94 students 2nd and 4th semester English study program students who were taking a speaking course. The questionnaire consists of 3 indicators derived from 3 aspects of Attitude and 3 indicators from ICT and 26 question items that will be answered by respondents, this type of question is a closed questionnaire. These results indicate that the use of ICT as a learning medium is high. On average, students have very high knowledge of these 3 indicators. This means that the use of ICT as a medium for learning speaking is recognized as quite high. Key words : Students’ Attitude, ICT, Speaking
