Abstract
This study aims to find out how the level of information literacy and information literacy evaluation of students at the Library of SD Negeri 1 Sungai Dangku. The variable of this study is the information literacy of students as measured by the Empowering Eight literacy standard. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with survey research methods using instruments in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The reliability test of this study used the Kuder-Richardson 21 (KR-20) formula and the validity test used the Reproducibility Coefficient and Scalability Coefficient formulas. The sample in this study was 57 students from a population of 130 students. The literacy standard used in this study is the Empowering Eight model by taking all aspects contained in the Empowering Eight literacy standard. The results of the study show that the percentage of identification aspects is 87% (Very High), Exploration is 76% (High), Selecting is 64% (High), Organizing is 67% (High), Creating is 60% (Medium), Presentation is 79% (High), Access 71% (High), and Apply 78% (High). Overall, students' information literacy skills have a percentage score of 74% (High). These results indicate that the information literacy skills of students at the Library of SD Negeri 1 Sungai Dangku based on the Empowering Eight literacy standard are included in the High category.
