Abstract

As one of the Integrated Islamic Schools, the low quality of student input in religious or religious aspects is the background for SMKIT Khoiru Ummah to carry out various activities and efforts to improve it. The activities and efforts carried out are deemed less effective without the right strategy, therefore the school implements Total Quality Management to improve the quality of its activities and processes in the long term. The writing of this thesis is focused on the application of Total Quality Management by focusing on the application of its principles. The purpose of writing this thesis is to evaluate the application of Total Quality Management at SMKIT Khoiru Ummah Rejang Lebong. This research is an evaluation research using the Goal Oriented Evaluation Model using a qualitative approach. Data was collected by using interview, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was tested by source triangulation, time triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of the study show that the focus on customers is carried out optimally by focusing on the needs and expectations of internal and external customers. Evaluation and improvement is carried out regularly and continuously. Through the visionary leadership style, the principal has a very important role. Cultural changes have been made but not too significant and continuous because there is a balance in the school. Cooperation has been carried out effectively between the school's internal customers and the school with external customers. Education and training become one of the routine activities to improve the competence of education and education personnel. Educators and education staff have a good commitment in maintaining quality and carrying out their duties optimally and continuously.
