Abstract

This thesis was aimed to find out implicit meaning on Fantastic Beasts the crime of Grindelwald Movie. The purposes of this research are to analyze the functions to know the implicit meaning from Fantastic Beast movie, to identify the implied meaning and to know the relationship between structural form and general communicative function of implicit meaning in the Fantastic Beast movie. The method used was descriptive qualitative. All the data in this research were taken from the scripts of Fantastic Beasts movie. The instruments of this research were used checklist and analysis data of script movie. Finally, the result is contained 384 implicit meaning there are implicit referential meaning used persona referents, demonstrative referents, comparative referents, and situational meaning used implicit situational of culture meaning. implicit situational of body language, implicit situational of relation between speaker and listener. implicit meaning is a subtle and visible meaning through gestures, expressions and conditions without spoken.
