Abstract

The research in this thesis is motivated by a phenomenon that the work ethic of employees can affect the success of the company and realize the goals to be achieved. In this case, the researcher examines the effect of compensation and educational background on the work ethic of the employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Curup. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population in this study were employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Curup with a sample of 21 respondents. Sources of data for this research include: Data collection methods using the google forms questionnaire method, namely data collection in the form of statements to obtain responses from a number of respondents. The method of analysis in this study is the validity and reliability of the data, the classical assumption test which consists of the normality test of the data, the multicollinearity test, the heteroscedasticity test, and the multiple regression test and hypothesis testing. Using statistical product and service solutions (SPSS) software26. The results showed that from the t-test results the compensation variable had a T_count of (3799) > T_table (2100) thus it could be concluded that there was a significant effect of the compensation variable on the work ethic of the employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Curup. While the t-test of the educational background variable has a T_count of (3427) > T_table (2100) so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the educational background variable on the work ethic of the employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Curup. and the f-test together with the compensation variable and educational background have an F_count of (10.009) > F_table (3.555) so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect together with the compensation variable and educational background on the work ethic of the employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Curup.
